Teachers’ Day Was So Much Fun!

Hi everyone! I am writing this on October 13, and I want to tell you all how we celebrated Teachers’ Day in our school.

That morning, I suddenly remembered it was Teacher’s Day! I had not even bought any gifts yet for my teachers. Almost every student brought nice pens and gifts, and I felt a little bad that I didn’t bring mine. So, after school, I told my dad that I wanted to buy gifts for my teachers. I told him I needed eight books – one for each teacher.

When my dad came back from the office, I quickly asked, “Where are the gifts?” He smiled and said, “Oh no, I forgot!” Then, while he was eating dinner, I reminded him again. Finally, my brother Pravin, my dad, and I went out to the shops. We bought all the books I needed. Then my brother said he also wanted to buy something, so we got eight pens too!

I had another idea – I told Dad to buy colorful gift wrappers to make the gifts look pretty. We bought those too. Dad spent so much money that day, but he didn’t complain. We came back home very late at night. We hadn’t even eaten dinner yet!

After that, we wrapped all the gifts together. It took a long time. By the time we finished, it was already 11 o’clock! We quickly ate dinner, brushed our teeth, and went to bed.

The next morning, I carried all the gifts to school. My bag was so full! My friend Punshiba forgot to bring his gifts, and he looked a bit sad. Then, a little later, my friend Worthemso came running into class. He was late – and he was carrying so many gifts! We were all so surprised. I was very curious to see what was inside those gifts.

When we opened them, there were baskets, tiffin boxes inside, and some students even brought old pots from home! Some students brought so many pens that we had to share them with other classes, too.

It was such a funny and happy day. Our teachers smiled the whole time. I think they really liked our gifts!

Happy Teacher’s Day to all the teachers!
