Yesterday was a fun day at school! We didn’t have our normal classes. Only Maths class we had for a short time. After that, no more studying!

Our Headmistress announced that we students have to watch the senior girls dance, the school band play, and some drama shows. It was very exciting!

During the break, I found my brother Pravin with his friends. My cousin-friend Dhiraj said he saw our cousin sister somewhere, so we went looking for her. But guess what? He was just joking!

I also tried to find my friend Punshiba, but it was really hard. There were so many students, and he always goes to places in school that I don’t even know! So my friend Worthemso and I stopped looking for him. We called our friend Yash and talked with him. We watched the dances and later went inside to do some drawing.

After some time, Worthemso found us again. We drew pictures and talked about games and funny things that happened at home. When playtime was over, I asked him, “Where were you?” and he said, “I was in the canteen eating dumplings and talking to my friends!” That made me laugh.

I thought our English teacher was absent, but she was not. She said she won’t take class because she wanted to watch the dance, and then she went to her staff room to eat lunch. Our Social Studies teacher came, but she didn’t even finish writing the questions on the board. She just told us to stay quiet.

Soon, the school was over. Students who came in private vehicles went home first. We went to our school van in the parking area. Punshiba came to our van and we talked for a while. Everyone was happy and noisy, ready to go home after a fun day!
