Every Sunday, I wake up very early at 5:00 in the morning. It is so hard to get out of bed because I still feel sleepy! I brush my teeth and try to wake up fully. Then I quickly finish because Mom has to take her bath next. Sometimes I play with the water sprayer while sitting there – it’s fun!

After Mom goes inside the bathroom, I pack my pencil box, my watercolors, and all my painting things in my backpack. When she finishes, I fill my bathtub and start singing songs while taking a bath. I love singing in the bathroom!

Then I eat my breakfast and say goodbye to Mom and my brother Pravin. Dad and I go downstairs together and walk to my painting class. It’s not very far from our house.

Today it was raining all morning. When we reached the class, I ran inside and waved at Dad. The drawing session started. Some of the senior students came late, and our teacher told one of them to change seats again and again. I didn’t mind – I just kept drawing. When someone asked me to move a little, I did and kept on drawing happily.

When I finished, I showed my painting to my teacher. He smiled and said, “Good job!” That made me so happy! After class, Dad came to pick me up, and we walked home together in the cool rainy weather.
